There is something about the lyrics of this song that I love, and also I feel that the beat is pretty awesome.
Another 'chilean' song, I've always liked cumbias, but I don't know why in my city young people is not use to dance them, but here everybody loves them and even if the dance style is a little different I can't help it, I dance like crazy at the parties! And lastly a song from a new group I recently discover thanks to my bf! You have to take a look, they are amazing!
The first song was the one the university team used to welcome us, it was the first chilean song I heard (knowing it was chilean). The others two songs I got them listening a San Diego's radio station online. And I have to say I'm becoming addict to Silversun Pickups, I totally love the voice of the singer.
Not a lot of new music, I've been watching a lot of T.V. lately with the roommies and listening to songs we all know to sing along while we do our homework or some house cleaning.
The month is almost over, and as usual I share my top 3 songs of the months with you guys! This month I really focused on the lyrics, as you can listen they are pretty calm and soft.

There is a part of my that is a big fan of some groups or singers and I can listen to their songs in eternal replay, but this month I felt tired of 'my' music, I was desperate to listen to new groups, new songs, something different. So I asked my friends for new music and I didn't like anything, until I went back to some groups I had only listened to one song and I did my research, that's how I re-find Grouplove (and I find out that they will launch a new disc) and re-find Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, and well, the new single from 30STM is quite amazing, I love the beat.

Mika is one of my favorite singers since I was in Middle School, and once in a while I get obsessed with a different song from him. Also I've been loving Daft Punk's new album, but when I saw that there was a song featuring Julian Casablancas I fell in total love, that song is perfection. And last but not least, Atlas Genius which was quite a surprise I believed that they were going to be a "One hit wonder" but their music is actually really good.
Lately I have been listening music all day long, no matter what, at work my partners are tired of listening to the same songs and my friends actually hate this songs, I'm pretty obsessive when I like a song, I can listen it all day clicking replay like if there were no tomorrow.
Well, this month was really difficult to choose which songs I was going to show you guys. And I decided to make a weird mix, something indie, some electropop and some hip-hop/r&b (in that order). Capital Cities is a new indie group from L.A. and Safe and Sound is their first single, I really hope they become something good, and not just a one-hit-wonder. I can't wait to hear the new album from Empire of the sun, they have really good music, and well, hip-hop is always going to be one of my biggest guilty pleasures in the world! Enjoy! I have been replaying this song, I love it, but mostly is because I relate with the story. I don't really like Marina, but this song is really catchy and last but not least a song from alt-J (∆) which I feel is going to be one of my favorite bands this year.
Lately I find myself listening to music all day long. I am trying to mix music and have my ears open to new stuff, like the last song which I find amazing, I am kind of obsessed with Black Keys, The Strokes and Crystal Fighters. And well, the Pasion Pit one is an amazing song but I am in total love with the video, the relationship between Sophia Bush and the singer is really cute and fun. I really like the video, a lot.
The first playlist of the year! I always share the songs that I've played the most for the past few days. This time I have been sharing music with a lot of people and listening to one local radio station that now I love. I realized that what I like the most about music is the lyrics, the beat, but the most important is the song to be singable, I love to play them loud and sing without worrying about anything.

I'm in the final stretch of my semester (you can tell by the I'm in the final stretch of my semester (you can tell by the absence) this have been an exhausting semester, my classes were pretty hard, and being out for 2 weeks (at the beggining) and almost a month (when I was at Innovamoda) made it even harder. This songs are the ones that I used to keep me conscious at night. I replay them more than 20 times and I just don't get tired of them, I have to say I have been listening to really nice (and new for me) music thanks to my ex boyfriend, I've been posting some of my favorites on the facebook page. Almost a week and this semester is over, then vacations and guess what, I will not have a job (I quit) so next year I will be looking for a new start! Wish me luck!
My latest obsession is FUN, I love the way they make me feel in the 80's. The Remix of Paradise is another reminder from Cancun, and the last song I really really want to use it in some video project, I feel it is perfect for some Nasty Gal ad or something like that, so I'll find a store just to make them a lookbook video.
